Kathleen Ciolli currently serves as a member of the Perry Schools Board of Education. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 1998 and her Master’s Degree in Educational Technology in 2014, both from Youngstown State University.  Kathleen currently works as a senior global sales engineer for uPlanner, deploying a technology designed by experts in academia for higher education institutions dedicated to the mission of providing high-quality, accessible education for all.  She is an experienced educator with over a decade of teaching experience from pre-K through 8th grade, spanning three states.  Kathleen left the classroom to pursue a career in educational technology and leadership, advancing her own education and increasing job responsibilities to help enable student success on a larger scale.  She had the opportunity to work for the Ohio Department of Education as a Race to the Top program Regional Specialist, collaborating with 34 local school districts in northeast Ohio to evaluate programming, optimize resources, and find effective solutions to a variety of problems.  When this grant program ended, Kathleen supported school districts in adopting software that would improve the school academic success.  She advanced to Director of Client Success and led a team of 14 client success managers, providing her with educational insights from dozens of different states. Kathleen has had the opportunity to work with hundreds of local school districts across the country throughout her career, learning from their successes and failures to bring valuable information to her hometown school district.  Kathleen is the proud mother of two Perry High School alumni (Elena-2019, Dominic-2023) and a current Perry Middle School student (Liana-2030).  A resident of Perry since 2008, Kathleen and her husband Chris chose Perry as their hometown based upon the outstanding academic performance, school facilities, faculty, staff, and leadership as well as the amazing community.  In addition to serving on the school board, she has been a member of the Perry Public Library Board since 2012.  Some of her hobbies include traveling, shopping, spending time with her family and coaching softball and girls wrestling.
