PERRY MIDDLE SCHOOL STEM TEAMS LAUNCH TO VICTORY!
What a fantastic accomplishment for our Perry Middle School 8th grade STEM students! Two teams competed this past Saturday in the annual Willoughby Pumpkin Chunkin competition, putting their engineering skills, creativity, and teamwork to the test with their very own hand-built trebuchets!
1st Place Team (School Division): Oh My Gourd, Becky (Sophia Hampton and Milly Klima) launched their pumpkin an incredible 405 feet, 5 inches, setting a NEW SCHOOL RECORD! 
2nd Place Team (School Division): The Pumpkin Spice Launchers (Kylie Dasinger, Ali Enrico, and Jillian Hansen) earned an impressive second-place finish with a throw of 294 feet, 8 inches!
We are so proud of these students for their hard work, innovation, and dedication. Their accomplishments are a wonderful example of STEM learning in action!
