Internship Spotlight 3/5/26
Brody is interning with Congressman Joyce’s office in Mentor, where he is actively supporting the work of the congressional team. Although the government shutdown earlier this semester temporarily paused some operations, Brody is now back in action and fully engaged in a wide range of responsibilities.
He has been organizing signed petitions, fielding phone calls from constituents, and summarizing constituent opinions so the congressman can track community feedback. Brody is also issuing proclamations, logging emails, and conducting online research to support ongoing legislative and community-focused tasks.
In addition to his work in Congressman Joyce’s office, Brody has been deeply engaged in the service academy application process, specifically for the United States Naval Academy, West Point, and the United States Air Force Academy. This work continued even through the government shutdown and has given him valuable insight into both the government and the military.
Brody’s college search extends beyond the service academies, he is applying to a variety of schools that will challenge him and allow him to excel. We wish Brody the very best in all his future endeavors.
