Sandra Bossert, Class of 1965
Sandra Bossert, age 69 of Perry, Ohio, passed away April 21, 2016 at TriPoint Medical Center. She was born March 3, 1947 in Cleveland to Alexander and Lillian (Siers) Burghardt. Sandy married Frederick Bossert in Painesville on May 6, 1967. Sandy was a 1965 graduate of Perry High School and received her Associate's degree in Hospitality, Travel & Tourism from Lakeland Community College. She worked at Quail Hollow after earning her degree. Later, she and a partner operated Quigley's in Madison. Then she opened and operated Pub 84, which is now Mr. Lee's. Sandy was involved with the local Liquor Association Board and was recently voted NCLBA President. She enjoyed crocheting and made bonnets for children at the Cleveland Clinic. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frederick; daughters, Stacey Bossert of Perry, Teresa Bossert of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, and Kristen (Jason) Masony of Medina; grandchildren, Christopher and Michela DeCapua, Elijah and Spencer Masony; great-grandchild, Ethan DeCapua; sister, Deborah Oberst of Strongsville; and many cousins in Georgia and Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents. Final resting place is Perry Cemetery.
