HVACR Program for 9-12th graders
Next year (2022-2023) there will be an opportunity for all 9-12th graders to learn the basics of HVACR and welding while earning certifications in the industry. You will train in the state-of-the-art lab on Lake Erie College's campus in Painesville. You will get hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVACR systems. The schedule for the 2022-2023 school year would look like HVACR students be at PHS for blocks 1, leave and travel to LEC for class from 9:30-11. They would return to PHS for lunch, block 3, and block 4 right here on our PHS campus. (see attached flyer)
HVACR students can earn OSHA 10-hour and EPA 608 which total 12 industry credential points that would count as one of the pathways to graduation. Please see/email Mrs. Soeder if you or your student is interested in meeting the instructor and touring the facility BEFORE 3/23/22.
Perry students have the chance to meet the instructor Mr. Robert Goe and tour the facility on Thursday, April 7th from 10:30 to 12:30.
