The Memory Project
"The Memory Project is a youth arts organization that promotes intercultural understanding and kindness between children around the world. We have been fortunate to have 300,000 youth in 55 countries involved in our school-based programs since 2004."
Eight upper level art students at Perry High School participated in this project by creating portraits of children living in the Republic of Cameroon, which is located in Western Africa. This country has been faced with many deadly challenges and is currently involved in a civil war.
The art students at Perry hope that their portraits bring joy, happiness, and peace to these children in a time of uncertainty.
