David Kanda, age 28, of Perry, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his home.
He was born July 6, 1989 in Ashtabula, OH and graduated from Perry High School in 2008.
David was a kind, loving, hardworking, fun person who loved his family dearly. He worked hard to learn the HVAC trade and was particularly proud of his abilities to make custom ductwork. A decision made in his late teens to experiment with drugs made a huge impact on his life and all who loved him. He fought long and hard but ultimately lost.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Debbie Kanda of Perry; siblings, Timothy (Machille) Kanda, Stephen (Chelsea) Kanda, Gregory (Erin) Kanda, Wendy (Brandon) Strnisa, Robert Kanda, and Christopher Kanda; nieces, Ava Kanda and Lily Strnisa; nephew, Landon Strnisa; grandmothers, Eileen Kanda and Mary Lou Miller; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
