Message from the Superintendent - October 10, 2018
You will likely be hearing about a threat that was made to a national organization in Washington, D.C., to “shoot up a school”. This threat was traced to a 440 area code and is currently under investigation. There was no school named or time indicated in the message. As a result, a bulletin was sent to all Lake County Police forces and our District was informed this morning. While there is no evidence that this is a credible threat, we will continue to monitor the situation. We remain vigilant to provide a safe school environment for our students and staff each and every day.
As always, thank you for your continued support of Perry Local Schools. As a reminder, our Safe School Hotline is available 24 hours a day by calling 1-800-418-6423 ext. 359, or texting 66746 and type “TIPS”, to anonymously report safety concerns.
