A Message from the Superintendent - 3/13/20
Thank you for your continued patience as we navigate our way through this uncharted territory. While the conditions are ever-changing, we’d like to share with you some updates as to how we anticipate the next few weeks to unfold.
Students will work on their blizzard bag assignments from Wednesday, March 18th through Friday, March 20th. Further information will be posted on each school’s home page.
Spring break will continue as scheduled from Monday, March 23rd through Friday, March 27th.
Remote learning for students will begin on Wednesday, April 1st and continue until we are able to return. Based on the orders we currently have from Ohio Governor, Mike DeWine, we will return to normal operation beginning on Monday, April 6th.
Our district homepage as well as each school’s homepage will soon have a “Coronavirus Response Plan” link. This link will contain all of the materials and information we currently have. This link will also take you to both remote learning and blizzard bag assignments which will be available beginning early next week. While students in kindergarten and 1st grade will receive their blizzard bag assignments via handout today, their assignments will also be available using these same links. Also available on the response plan site will be a calendar describing the learning schedule above and a FAQ page we hope will be helpful.
We will continue to work with diligence to make this experience as smooth as possible for everyone and appreciate your support during these uncertain times.
If you should have any questions, please contact one of your building principals.
Yours in Education,
