Perry Foundation Loan Application

Perry Foundation loans are available to all students who are enrolled, attend, or have graduated from the Perry Local Schools who are or will be full-time students (12 credits or more) pursuing post secondary education, including two-year, four-year or technical school. The loan application requires that you submit the attached documents to the Trustees of the Perry Foundation by June 15th of each year.

The Appalachian Chapter of the AADE is utilizing these scholarships to encourage college-bound high school seniors to consider a career in the oil and gas industry. This scholarship is NOT being limited to Petroleum Engineering majors; or for that matter, engineering majors. These scholarships will be awarded based on academic excellence, financial need, and extenuating circumstances. If you are able to secure one of these twenty $1000 scholarships; upon completion of your freshman year, you may become eligible to apply for one of three (3) planned $2000 annual scholarships which may be in effect for the remaining three (3) years of college. The total potential AADE aid could amount to $7,000 over 4 years. Deadline: 04/15/19.

Brandy Siegel left us all too soon on September 4th, 2018. Anyone who knew her in our school and community could attest to her radiant and contagious personality. Born and raised in Perry, it was always her dream to come back and teach at her alumni. To honor Miss Siegel, her scholarship will award $1,000 to two senior students who will be pursuing a job in service areas such as education, nursing, law enforcement, EMT, etc. Deadline: April 5, 2019
Applicants must be involved in the Perry Service Learning Program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, resourcefulness, community involvement, general worthiness and financial need. One scholarship will be awarded for Early Education major and one will be awarded for Special Education major. Deadline: April 5, 2019.
Under the Choose Ohio First initiative, Lakeland Community College has been awarded $80,000 by the Ohio Department of Higher Education to support tuition, general fees, and books for first year students in the 2019-2020 academic year. This will support at least 16 full scholarships. The scholarships are continuing until graduation once awarded. Successful applicants must enroll in the Biotechnology Science program; have a 3.0 gpa; be an Ohio resident; and not have full funding from an alternative source.
$4,000 renewable for 4 years G.P.A. 3.0 or higher, extracurricular activities and community service are taken into consideration. EFC from the FAFSA must be included. Deadline: April 4, 2019.
Must be a graduating senior from Madison, Perry, Fairport Harbor, Riverside or Harvey High Schools. Must plan on attending a 2 or 4 year college/university or a vocational/technical school. Minimum GPA of 2.5. Two scholarships awarded at $500 each. Deadline: April 2, 2019.
Legal resident of Lake County, Graduating class of Perry, Citizenship, personality, leadership, perseverance, resourcefulness, general worthiness and financial need, Rank in upper one-third of class. Deadline: 4/15/19.

2@ $1,000. Emphasis on good citizenship, Must be attending a 2–4 year college or joining the U.S. Armed Forces, Preference to career goals of military service, nursing, or related health fields, engineering, law enforcement, education or other public service professions. Deadline: 4/05/19.
3 @ $1,000 to seniors of partner district high schools. Answer essay question of "What are your career goals and why did you choose this health science field?". Deadline: 4/01/2019
The Kidney Foundation of Ohio is proud to offer the 2019 Scholarship Award, an opportunity designed to help a deserving kidney patient, or child of a patient, achieve his/her academic goals and complete a college education or technical school. Financial support ranging between $1,000-$2,000 will be provided to a student who has been diagnosed with kidney disease (or child of a kidney patient), demonstrates financial need and resides in the Foundation’s service area. Deadline: 4/30/2019

The Perry High School Alumni Association Scholarship was established in 2005 to recognize graduating seniors who have exhibited commitment and loyalty to their schools and/or communities. In 2019, up to four $1,500 scholarships will be offered recognizing one graduating senior who is the child/grandchild of an alumnus and attends any school (not necessarily Perry High School) and one who is a graduating senior from Perry High School. Deadline: 04/01/2019.

$1,000 Applicant must be graduating from an Ohio high school and must be planning to enroll in a 2 or 4 year college or university. Selection is based on leadership qualities and activities.
