The Lake County Retired Teacher's Association is offering a scholarship to any senior planning to major in education. Academic achievement as well as involvement in community and extra-curricular activities will be considered. The scholarship is a one time, non-renewable award. Applicants must be involved in the Perry Service Learning Program and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, resourcefulness, community involvement, general worthiness and financial need. One scholarship will be awarded for Early Education major and one will be awarded for Special Education major. Deadline: April 6, 2018.

2@ $1,000. Emphasis on good citizenship, Must be attending a 2–4 year college or joining the U.S. Armed Forces, Preference to career goals of military service, nursing, or related health fields, engineering, law enforcement, education or other public service professions. Deadline: 4/06/18.
2@$1,500 1 Male & 1 Female, Completed or currently taking AP Calculus, Pursuing a career in Math, Science, Engineering, Math Education, Emphasis on highest GPA in: Pre-Calculus, Applied Calculus and Calculus. Deadline: 4/06/18.
1@ $1,000, GPA 3.0 or higher, Emphasis placed on commitment to community service and leadership skills, Must be planning to continue in civil service activities during & after college, Preference given to North Perry residents. Deadline: 4/06/18.
1@ $500, GPA 2.5 or higher, Must be interested in working with young children requiring special medical or scholastic needs, emphasis placed on school and community activities. Deadline: 4/06/18.
