Perry Theatre Guild

Tickets for the PHS Fall Play "The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet" are now available!

The show is a whimsical reinvention of Shakespeare's tragic love story, complete with rhymed couplets, creative wordplay, and fantastical machines -- similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with if he ever had his way with the script. Kids will recognize their favorite lines from Dr. Seuss as their folks take note of the most famous lines (sometimes slightly Seussified) from Romeo and Juliet... If you're having a hard time imagining it, you will be blown away. Get your tickets now!

Join Perry Schools Theatre Guild
Do you enjoy attending school theatre productions, as well as performances by our show choir, the Buccaneers? Are you interested in supporting our performers or taking part in a “behind the scenes” capacity? If you answered ‘yes’ to either of these questions, please consider joining the Perry Schools Theatre Guild.
The main objectives of this Guild are to support and promote the Perry Theater Department through fundraising, promotion of productions and providing our theater students with opportunities to participate in activities that might expand their experience and theatrical repertoire during their high school career and beyond. We believe that the students involved in our theater program are very talented and deserve the encouragement and exposure in the school system and out in the community.

When school districts experience financial difficulties, the first cuts made are often in the area of the Arts. By establishing this organization we hope to avoid any interruption to The Perry Theater Program by working to make the program self-supporting. Membership and participation in the Theater Guild is not be limited to Perry students, parents and staff, but includes business sponsors and other patrons in the community who see the value in The Arts and how The Arts remain an important and worthwhile element in our schools.
